Meet Our Doctors


Dr. Randy F. Rizor  is a founding partner at The Physicians Spine & Rehabilitation Specialists, practicing in Sandy Springs and Stockbridge. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Bates College and earned his MD from the University of Toledo in 1976. He completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and became board-certified in 1981, with subspecialty certification in Pain Management in 1993.

Recognized as one of Atlanta’s top doctors, he serves on the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation and is the President-Elect of the Medical Association of Atlanta. A Colonel in the US Army Reserve, he has actively served in Kosovo and Iraq. In 2018, he received the Jack A. Raines, MD Humanitarian Award.

Keith C. Raziano MD

Dr. Keith C. Raziano is an accomplished medical professional with a degree in Biology and a medical degree from the University of Miami. He completed his surgical internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center and residency at Emory University Hospital, where he was Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor.

Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a subspecialty in Pain Medicine, he has served as a national instructor and consultant for various organizations. Dr. Raziano is also an Associate Clinical Professor and has contributed to multiple medical publications, including serving as a Contributing Editor for Harvard Medical School’s Rehab in Review.

Paul L. Mefferd DO

Dr. Paul L. Mefferd practices in Marietta and Calhoun. He earned his Biology degree from the University of South Carolina and his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences. After completing his internship at Florida Hospital and residency at Emory University Hospital, he finished his fellowship in Anesthesiology Pain Medicine at Emory.

Board-certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, he is affiliated with several professional organizations. Dr. Mefferd has contributed to 'Rehab in Review' at Harvard Medical School and serves as a physician for local athletic teams and events.
