Peripheral Neuropathy

Neuropathy is severe pain that is the result of a damaged nerve. Although it is possible to obtain a damaged nerve anywhere in the body, neuralgia is most likely to occur in the face and neck. The pain from neuralgia is described as stabbing and burning. The cause of this condition is often unknown, although at times it can be the result of an underlying medical condition.
