Susan D. Slappey, APRN, FNP-C
Susan Slappey is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Her extensive medical background includes not only specialization in Pain Management, but also focus in a wide variety of concentrations, including Orthopedics, Neurology, Palliative and Geriatric care.
A graduate of Kennesaw State University, Ms. Slappey received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1996. She spent the next 15 years travelling around the country working as a travelling RN with various organizations before joining the staff at Emory Orthopedics and Spine Hospital in 2011. Ms. Slappey returned to KSU in 2013 to pursue her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined our practice upon completion of her degree in 2014.
Ms. Slappey is a member of The Academy of Integrative Pain Management, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Georgia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. She practices in our Sandy Springs office.
